Get ready for a journey that turns a regular week into a lifetime of memories! This itinerary is perfectly balanced between thrilling adventure, deep cultural dives, and hands-on service.

The Day-by-Day Experience

Day 1: Welcome to Guatemala! We arrive in Guatemala City, meet the whole team, and settle in for a relaxing night at the comfortable Barceló Hotel to prepare for the week ahead.

Day 2: Old World Charm After a great breakfast at the Barceló, we travel to the stunning Spanish colonial town of Antigua for a full day of soaking up the beautiful cultural and religious sites.

Day 3: Volcano Climb Begins! The adventure hits peak gear! We begin hiking Acatenango Volcano. We arrive at basecamp for an unforgettable night watching the nearby, active Volcano Fuego erupt! We’ll be camping right on Acatenango.

Day 4: Sunrise Glory & Lake Life We rise early to summit Acatenango for a breathtaking sunrise—a truly incredible family achievement! Afterward, we descend and travel directly to the majestic shores of Lake Atitlán, Panajachel.

Day 5: Heart of Service This is our dedicated service day in the highlands! It’s all about hands-on impact, providing care and support in the local communities.

Day 6: Culture & Exploration We dive deep into the beautiful local culture with a full-day tour of the unique lakeside towns of San Juan and San Marcos on Lake Atitlán.

Day 7: Profound Connection A powerful day visiting Faith Seeds International and the Quetzaltenango Dump. Faith Seeds is an amazing organization that helps educate the children whose parents work at the dump—a truly moving experience that brings our mission to life.

Day 8: Adrenaline & Farewell Time for some fun! We enjoy ziplining at the Atitlán Natural Reserve! We save time for last-minute souvenir shopping in Panajachel before traveling back to Guatemala City.

Day 9: Homeward Bound Enjoy your final morning before heading to the airport and flying home, carrying incredible memories and a renewed family bond!
